Matt Pfeiffer, Owner

Matt Pfeiffer is the owner and CEO of Northern Wholesale Flooring. While growing up in Lake Orion, Matt learned a lot about the flooring industry helping his parents with their Flooring Manufacturers Representative business and worked thereafter attending Western Michigan University. Matt went on to represent two major carpet manufacturers directly after leaving the family business, and then in 2003, he purchased Northern Flooring and Interiors. He has built Northern around Charity, Community Service, and Design. Matt loves to travel and spend time with family and friends in his hometown of Lake Orion.

My name is Liam Pfeiffer. I have an Associate's degree from Oakland Community College. I have been working for my father, Matthew Pfeiffer since he first purchased Northern Flooring a long time ago. I recently started training on the sales floor and also work in the warehouse. I enjoy spending my time off with friends, family or being outside on the lake. I look forward to learning more about flooring and continuing to help others with their flooring needs.

Jim comes to Northern with over 30 years of flooring experience in both residential and commercial sectors. He has been successful in both sales and management within the flooring business. His passion for flooring is in his DNA. Jim is the third generation to be in the flooring business. He lives in Lake Orion with his wife and two kids at home, and with one grown up and married. He's lived in Metro Detroit all of his life. When Jim isn't spending time with family, he enjoys tennis, golf exercising, reading, and spending time in northern Michigan.
